What is Tails of the World?

Coffee table book featuring dogs from all over the world, including TEN DOGS from Missoula, Montana!

In 2023, I was selected to be an official photographer for the Tails of the World, Volume 2 book project. Each photographer offered dog portrait sessions in their local area, with 100% of the session fees being donated to a local dog charity of the photographer's choice.

The session fees from my Missoula, Montana sessions were donated to the Montana Pittie Project. All proceeds from the sales of the book will be donated to Second Chance Animal Rescue Inc.

About the charity

Session fees from my Tails of the World sessions were donated to the Montana Pittie Project (MPP), rescuing bully breeds from euthanasia.

MPP, a foster-based rescue, relies on fosters across Montana to provide safe, loving homes for dogs to decompress and transition into their forever homes.

Fosters play a crucial role in saving lives, rebuilding trust, and finding dogs their forever families.

Visit the Montana Pittie Project website for adoptable dogs and fostering opportunities.

About the charity

All proceeds from book sales are donated to Second Chance Animal Rescue, an Australian not-for-profit with a vast network of foster carers and volunteers.

They've rescued and rehabilitated over 10,000 pets facing euthanasia, providing them with a Second Chance to find their forever homes.

Visit the Second Chance Animal Rescue website for more information.

The first time I saw Shannon's photos I knew I needed to hire her. She was so easy to work with and answered all my questions. She planned for everything I needed in a photo shoot. The process so was fun and I really trusted her expertise. The photos were better than I could have imagined. I would absolutely hire her again and have already recommended her to other people.

Such an amazing experience! I've never participated in a professional photo session before, let alone one for a pet. Shannon is absolutely incredible. Her kindness and enthusiasm made the session so inviting; and she actually took the time to get to know me and my dog. When I first saw the photographs, I cried! They are even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Shannon is such an amazing person and artist; I will definitely choose her for future portrait sessions!

Shannon was kind, caring, and made me feel so comfortable! I was IN SHOCK with how amazing the photos looked! I could look at them all day and never get bored of seeing their beauty. I'm looking forward to having lifelong memories of my best buddy, Rico. I had such a great experience working with Shannon.
