For the second year in a row, I'm honored to be part of this impactful project that raises significant funds to help pets in need around the globe.
Tails of the World™ is a collaborative project from pet photographers all around the globe. We are united in our mission to make a difference for animals in need.
To date, our annual books have raised over $95,000 and featured over 1150 dogs.

Shannon Edney Photography has been selected as an official 2024 photographer and I'm now taking applications for limited edition Tails of the World: Treasure Valley photoshoots.
100% of these session fees are donated to Boxer Lovers Rescue and one photo from each session is guaranteed to be included in the book. All proceeds from the book sales are donated to Geelong Animal Welfare Society. You’ll also have the opportunity to view and purchase keepsake photographic artwork from your unique doggy photoshoot.

Dates available: July and August 2024, exact dates to be determined.

100% of the session donation goes to Boxer Lovers Rescue.

Sessions take place in the greater Treasure Valley area.

Only one dog per session; if you would like to include multiple dogs in the book project, please purchase a session for each dog.

If you would like to be in some of the photos with your dog, you have the option to purchase an extended session for an additional $100.

One image from each session will be included in the Tails of the World book (available to order online in December 2024).

Prints, products and digital files are not included but can be purchased separately.
Tails of the World is a collaborative project from professional pet photographers all around the globe. We've united to help raise funds for pet rescue and spread joy with beautiful photography and heartwarming stories – all combined into a beautiful coffee table book.
In 2023, Tails of the World Volume 2 raised over $65,000 for rescue charities around the globe, W-O-W!!!!
In 2023, I photographed ten dogs from the Missoula area for the Tails of the World Volume 2 book, released in March 2024. The session fees from these shoots were donated to the Montana Pittie Project, and all sales proceeds from the book will be donated to Second Chance Animal Rescue. 100% of the proceeds from both the sessions and book sales are dedicated to animal rescue efforts. These books are now available for purchase worldwide.
Shannon was so much fun to work with! I've never done any professional pictures with my dogs, she made me very comfortable and was great at getting Dempsey to pose! :) The photos are fantastic!!! Everyone I have shown them to absolutely loves them!!! I would definitely work with her again if I wanted to do pet pictures again! If you're thinking about having pictures taken of, or with, your furkids you won't find anyone better!!! I'm very proud my Dempsey is a part of the Tails Of The World fundraising project for 2024!!

We appreciated how Shannon engaged with our dog during the session; both for how it helped us and our pup feel more comfortable, and for how it helped her to find our pup's best reaction and angles. We were blown away when we saw the photos for the first time. We were amazed how well she was able to capture our dog's personality in each photo. Such an amazing experience! I've never participated in a professional photo session before, let alone one for a pet. Shannon is absolutely incredible.
