From our first conversation to the delivery of finished artwork, every step is thoughtfully guided to ensure the experience feels relaxed, supportive, and meaningful — for both you and your dog.
The First Conversation
Every dog portrait experience begins with connection.
We’ll start with a consultation where I learn about your dog — their personality, energy, quirks, and the moments you love most. We’ll talk through your vision, discuss upcoming destination options, and answer any questions so you feel confident and excited moving forward.
This conversation sets the tone for everything that follows.
Thoughtful Planning
Once your session is reserved, planning begins.
Together, we’ll choose a destination that complements your dog’s personality and allows room for exploration and movement. We’ll also consider timing, light, and pacing so the experience feels natural and unhurried. You’ll receive guidance to help you feel fully prepared without feeling overwhelmed.
Session Day
On the day of your session, the focus is simple: letting your dog be themselves.
Sessions are gently guided and intentionally unstructured, allowing your dog to move, explore, and settle naturally within the environment. Whether we’re capturing joyful motion, quiet moments, or your connection together, the atmosphere is calm, patient, and positive.
No perfect behavior required.
Capturing Expression & Story
During the session, I’m watching for the in-between moments — the head tilts, glances, zoomies, and soft expressions that reflect who your dog truly is.
Some images are softly directed, others unfold organically. Together, they tell a complete and honest story.
Artful Editing
After your session, I carefully curate and artistically edit your images in my signature fine art style.
Each final image receives individual attention, with thoughtful enhancements to light and color — along with the removal of any necessary distractions — ensuring your portraits are polished, cohesive, and gallery-worthy.
Viewing & Artwork Selection
You’ll be invited to a private online viewing experience where you’ll see the full story of your dog’s session come together.
From there, you’ll choose how you’d like to preserve your portraits — whether digitally, as finished wall art, or in handcrafted albums. Guidance is always provided so your selections feel intentional and right for your home.
Artwork Delivery
Your artwork is custom-crafted using museum-quality materials and delivered ready to enjoy.
Each piece is designed to live beautifully in your space — not tucked away, but woven into everyday life.
